I am honored to be the recipient of a Small Projects Grant from the Latviešu Fonds (Latvian Foundation) for 2026 for my children’s book in Latvian and English “Dzintars un Vārna” (Amber and the Crow).  The book will become available in late 2026.  Portions of the final printed books will be distributed for use by educational and non-profit cultural entities. 
 
In March, the Council of the Latvian Foundation met for its annual spring meeting, where decisions were made on project funding for 2026.
